One car, one booking, and either the door of your hotel or the nearest point a car may legally stop. Which of the two it is depends on the street rather than on the hotel, and it is worth settling before the morning of your flight.

Where the driver will meet you
Hotels in the pedestrian old town
The historic centre is closed to traffic, both banks of the Ljubljanica and the streets climbing to the castle, with no exception for luggage. Boutique hotels here, among them Vander Urbani, Cubo, Antiq Palace, Allegro and Zlata Ladjica, cannot be reached by car at the door. The driver waits at the nearest point where stopping is legal, two to four minutes on foot, and comes to carry the bags. Reception knows which point taxis use; ask them, or ask us when we confirm.
Hotels on the main avenues
Anything on Slovenska cesta, Miklošičeva, Dunajska or around the railway station is a door pickup. The larger hotels here, InterContinental, Grand Hotel Union, Radisson Blu Plaza, Grand Plaza, Slon and City Hotel, have a forecourt or a bay, so there is nothing to arrange beyond the time.
Hotels by the ring road and the motorway
Hotels out towards the A2, such as Four Points by Sheraton Mons and Austria Trend, have their own parking and an easy pickup at the entrance. The trade-off is that nothing is walkable from them: the old town is a ten-minute drive, and a hotel shuttle runs to a timetable and often costs extra per person. For two people a private car is close in price and leaves when you want to leave.

Per car, not per person, and the same from any hotel in the city. Tolls, parking, bottled water and Wi-Fi are included, and the price is confirmed before you travel.

Can the driver collect me at the hotel entrance?
At hotels on the avenues and out by the ring road, yes, at the door. In the pedestrian old town no car may enter, so the driver waits at the nearest legal stopping point and walks in to help with the luggage. It is two to four minutes and we tell you the exact spot when we confirm the booking.
Can you take five passengers with luggage?
Yes. The Mercedes-Benz V-Class takes five passengers with five large suitcases. The C-Class takes four with two large cases and two cabin bags. Tell us the numbers when you book so the right car arrives.
Can I book an early morning airport transfer?
Yes, at any hour, with no night surcharge. For a flight at eight the pickup is usually around six and the roads are empty. Settle your hotel bill the night before, because reception may not be staffed that early.
Do you drive from Ljubljana hotels to Venice or Trieste?
Yes. Trieste, Venice, Zagreb, Vienna, Salzburg and Munich are all driven directly from your hotel, with the price fixed before the trip and the motorway tolls already in it. These are the trips the V-Class exists for.
Are child seats available?
Yes, free, but they must be asked for when booking. Slovenian law requires a restraint up to 150 cm and the right seat has to be fitted before we set off, so we need to know how many children and how old.
How do I pay?
Cash, card in the car, or bank transfer. No deposit is taken and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the pickup.
